Recent Events
Our Club in conjunction with the WPSC sponsor the King & Queen of the Mountain Race Feb. 16, 2002 at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. The race consist of individuals competing in their choice of three out of four alpine disciplines; Alpine, Telemark, Snowboard, and Snowblade. The best time in each discipline is combined and the best combined time is the King or Queen of the Mountian. We also have a team category for those without the availibilty of the gear to compete in the individual event. The teams can consist of two to four members, at least one being of the opposite sex. They then compete in all four disciplines and as in the individual event the best overall combined time wins.
This years winners are:
King of the Mountain is Matt Schade with a time of 69.97
Queen of the Mountain is Meagan Connelly with a time of 67.18
Team of the Mountain: Matt Schade, Paul Schade, Paul Kline, Shawn Patterson with a time of 92.93
